Mr. Stradley is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner™. He graduated from Florida State University in 1978 with a B.S. in Accounting. He began his career with a local Certified Public Accounting firm in Tallahassee Florida. In 1981 he moved to San Antonio Texas. While there he worked for a Medical Equipment Leasing Company. He also managed Cattle Ranches and Real Estate Developments. In 1985 Scott returned to Florida to work as a Manager in the Tax Department of KPMG’s Vero Beach office. In 1990 Scott left KPMG to form his own Certified Public Accounting firm.

Public service is important to achieving our goals and it starts with our own commitment.” Scott public service embraces all three priorities economic, environmental and quality of life. Scott is currently Chairman of the City of Vero Beach Utilities Commission. He is a member of the Indian River County Economic Development Council and serves on the board of Main Street Vero Beach. He help found is Vice-Chairman of Save the Indian River Lagoon Estuary Now (STIRLEN) a non-profit dedicated the restoration and preservation of the Indian River Lagoon. He served on the Indian River County/City of Vero Beach Enterprise Zone Development Agency from 2005 to 2009 and on the City of Vero Beach High Speed Rail Advisory Commission from 2012 to 2013. He is a member of the Republican Executive Committee and has served as treasurer in several political campaigns.
